What progress!

My sister posted a picture of Hudson (my ten year old nephew) from when they took him in to last week, when he started his new school year. Can you believe the difference? It’s such a testament from where one starts to how far they can come.

Very nice indeed. From a picture of a weak boy with straps on his legs to a strong and confident young man now. I guess he received the care he needed to overcome his childhood challenges. That’s definitely a big difference.

It’s unfortunate that he had to endure so much as a baby because it was passed on to him. Still, I’m glad he’s overcome those challenges and now seems untouched by that kind of life. Hopefully, he enjoys a healthy future ahead.

He looks like a normal size kid.Also he looks like he is just wearing a headband instead of a feeding tube of sorts I doubt anyone would look at him twice really.

Oh, that’s a hearing aid. It’s an unusual one, but it is the best way they could keep him from messing with it. Your memory is excellent though because he does have a Mickey in his stomach he still gets fed about 30% of his nutrition.

That poor little sad face almost brings me to tears. Such a transformation to the next photo. I hope he loves school. He has come such a long way.

And ever since they got him on medication for his psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis his pain has really gotten under control too.

Hudson is a true miracle baby. He definitely was adopted by a wonderful family! I know he is so loved.

This is the proof. In tough times there's always hope to get better and become who we really want to be but of course being loved and supported by family. That gives so much impact for growth.
