Many people don't like to drink water. It can get boring. But you can enjoy important nutrients such as fiber, antioxidants, and electrolytes and not just drink water. Here's a list of five foods you can incorporate into your diet that help to do the job: * Cucumber - 96% water and contains potassium which helps to balance fluids. * Strawberries - 91% water and rich in Vitamin C which helps strengthen the immune system. * Celery - 95% water and packed with electrolytes. * Watermelon - 92% water with important nutrients that help to replenish electrolytes lost through sweat. * Oranges - 85% water and rich in Vitamin C.

Once in a while I'll eat oranges. And drinking water is good, but unless you get like gatorade or something like it you're not going to get any eletrolites. People don't drink water, not because it's boring, because it tastes like nothing. It offers nothing because by itself it has nothing.

I like tangerines better. The things I mentioned as options have the sodium and electrolytes in most of them. To me nothing means boring so that is why I wrote it that way. Plus, I've had people respond about water as being boring. And water has hydration properties just in a tasteless form and is needed by every organ in our bodies.

I am glad you did not just say to get Sports drinks, as some people have to be careful of the sodium and potassium. Fruits are much better, or even fruit infused water is good. At Headstart years ago we made a smoothie with frozen watermelon, and yogurt. Sweetened with a little honey and added a squeeze of lime juice. Both tasty and healthy.

Good idea here. Weird me. I can't eat much watermelon cause it has two types of sugar in it and that sends my system into a disaster.
