Did you pray this morning? If you do, is it a routinely task every morning? This Sunday in our class for male adults, prayer is our lesson handled by our teacher. We learn that prayer has two types or forms. The common is verbal. Prayer is said aloud before a group of persons or in a congregation. The person who prays for them. The other one is nonverbal. It Is done by thoughts, by heart. Only the person who prays alone knows his prayer all about. It's usually done in secret. Do you believe that prayer can effect changes in the family, in the community or in the country? Why people pray for what? Photo from Google

I think it does. I pray, and I am not even religious.

Religion is not required as long as you have faith in God. Communication with God is for everyone for God is love.

Prayer connects us to something greater than ourselves, and lifts us closer to God. A prayer is always positive, and so can help to shift our mood too, and so allow us to feel more connected to life, and to God too. It calms my agitated mind, and soothes my heart.

@Nakitakona Yes, prayer can lift us out of our despondence, and increase our ability to live better lives, and to live from God's love, and God's truth, in us too, as we connect to both, God's love, and his truth, through our prayer.
