Approaching the End of Another Great Weekend

Sunday evening......approaching the end of another great weekend here. It was relaxing, although the weather has crept up to a higher temperature today, and heading into the high 30's and low 40's during the next 10 days or so. As it seems, summer's heat has arrived. I am not a huge fan of the extreme heat or the cold, it will just be a number of days that I limit my outdoor time is all. The summer fruits and vegetables will come on better with the heat. We have a few cherry tomatoes on the plant. They are green, but will grow and turn red. This heat will be helpful to the sweet corn growers. And the sweet corn eaters, which I am a huge fan of. We enjoyed fresh strawberry shortcake for dessert this evening. They were delicious and may be my most favorite summer fruit. ~Photo is mine
