It has been so humid when I got up this morning I could see the humidity in the air inside the house! It almost looked like smoke. but it is just the heaviness of the air mass. I have a small dehumidifier I put on in here. Hopefully, that will help a little bit. I do have a couple of windows open in the bedroom, so it is probably some of the outside air wafting in. No wonder I was sweating yesterday just cooking supper. I am reserving the Central AC for the really hot days yet to come. The air temp isn't super high, but wow is it humid! 64 days until September 1.

It is pretty bad. I feel sorry for people who have to be out in it. After tomorrow it is going to be grim here. It will probably feel like Oklahoma.

I admire your determination to keep the a/c off and deal with the heat & humidity. I could never keep my a/c off in this stifling heat. Looks like this upcoming week is going to be record breaking hot.

I will be putting it on come Weds. I am sure. With two fans on and the dehumidifier going it is pleasant enough in here now.

That kind of humidity is the worst the air feels heavy before you even start doing anything. If you can actually see it inside the house, that’s saying something.
