Sushi for lunch

I was out doing some errands today and just got back here for a late lunch of sushi. It is different from my usual, and seems to be mostly rice, but hey I'll take it. That is a good lunch for a hot day. Do you like sushii? What do you usually get? No, it isn't all raw fish..technically sashimi is the raw fish. Anyway, what did you have for lunch?

It is good. It is very nice and refreshing to eat chilled on a hot day.

That is what I usually get is the California roll,. This was a salmon roll.

No fair, I love sashimi but to get that here I'll have to save up cuz it's sooooooo expensive ..... this area is at least 700 miles from any kind of ocean. As for sushi, they have it in many places but I can't say it's anywhere near as good as what you'd get on either the east or west coast.

@LadyDuck I haven't had raw fish sushi for ages. I am not really comfortable with it.

@snowy22315 - I usually make sushi using avocado, shrimps, smoked salmon. I do not feel that it's safe to use raw fish with this heat.
