Thanks to the teamwork of the Rocky Hill Fire Department (RHFD) and the Rocky Hill Animal Control employees, a small kitten was rescued when the small animal was stuck inside a 3 inch PVC pipe on Saturday morning.
Firefighters with the RHFD had a hard time trying to rescue the kitten who was four feet down the three inch pipe.
The animal control employees managed to use an animal grasper which is a lot set of tongs to rescue the kitten and take the kitten to an animal shelter.
The kitten is in good condition after being rescued by the animal control employees in Connecticut.

So happy to hear they rescued it. We had a kitten rescued here amid the flash flooding over the weekend, too.

Nice to learn that you were able to adopt a kitten that came from a flood.

@Deepizzaguy — I didn’t adopt it. I have too many neighborhood strays to feed.
I meant “we” as in the city.

Kittens are really a lot tougher than we think.

It was good they didn't have to destroy the pipe. What goes in, should be able to come out. The set of tongs proved to be a very useful tool in rescuing the kitten then.

The tongs were very useful in rescuing the car indeed.
