I saw another fox yesterday, and you won't believe where this one was! It was lying on an old chaise lounge on the deck!! I took a picture of it, but I don't want to share because my deck is messy. It needs repair and I can't walk out on it to clean it. I rapped on the window so it went away. That is a little bit too close. I have the feeling that one might be living under the deck because one time when I opened the back door, one came shooting out from there. I don't want them that close to the house. It is weird I went for years without seeing either fox or coyotes, all of a sudden I have seen several in the past few weeks. 63 days until September 1.

Animals know how to be comfortable. May be there are foxes hidden somewhere in your property.

@LadyDuck It could be hanging out under the deck, but I hope not. The one on the deck was red, but I have also seen a grey one.

@snowy22315 - That is very possible. There was a family of foxes in the woods in front of us in Switzerland.

I love seeing a fox. We have a couple I’ve seen in the wooded area behind our apartment building. It’s always a treat to come across one!

I wish I could see one but I don't there are any here. The good thing about both the fox and coyote is that they eat rats and mice and squirrels. Coyotoes will also prey on small cats and dogs which is why most of the people I know with small pets keep a close eye on them, cats stay indoors only so no risk of them becoming lunch.

There are plenty of fat squirrels around here for their consumption. Come to think of it, I haven't seen them lately. I wonder if they have already become lunch!

Those that get fat can't run as fast so maybe so @snowy22315 just look for those skinny ones, I'll bet there's a few around @snowy22315

I'd be scared if I see a fox close to my property

How rude of you to disturb that poor fox who was just trying to relax Seriously that is a little too close for me too.
