Bye Bye Sweet Tiny Tot

I knew I wouldn't have her long. At least she was still playing last night. So I know she had a happy short life. When I found her Mary Jane was laying with her. So I put Doobia out with her. That cheered her up.
My double yolker egg had not completely formed. It stopped growing late in the process. But chicky number 12 just got very lucky. I was starting to get the eggs out to throw away when it started yelling at me. So I helped it finish hatching. It's now in the incubator getting it's feet working. I will have to keep a close eye on that as it went up to 104 in it today. So I had unplugged it and it dropped to 88. They are supposed to be kept around 100. My other chickies are not staying near the heat lamp as they don't need it in this weather.
We came home early from the auction. I wasn't feeling good at all. When we got home I took about a 2 hour nap. Feeling a lot better now. But that means I don't know how much my stuff sold for.
Hope you had a good day.

Do you think you got too much heat? I was out in the sun one time at Kings Dominion and got the worst headache. Sorry about kitty

I do think this sudden heat wave is part of it.

I'm so sorry about Tiny Tot. And if she was still playing last night, surely she wasn't in pain.
I hope you just got too hot and are OK.

She just never grew.
I think it's the sudden change. Comfortable weather to extremely high humidity

When I did those years of rescue I discovered that there is such a thing as ''Fading kitten syndrome'' that I had not really heard of before. One kitten will be born very small and will fail to thrive, and not really grow. Maybe that was the reason, maybe not. I'm just sorry, she was so cute.
It is nauseatingly hot out there. Stay inside all you can.

She was exploring around the night before enjoying the grass. And playing with Mary Jane.
I do now

Poor baby.
I’m guessing you may have been a little overheated. Or you’ve been doing too much and it caught up to you today. Hope you’re all better now.
