Glass Beach

Near McKerracher State Park is a beach where thousands of treasure seekers visit each year. It seems that from 1950 to 1967 the citizens of Fort Bragg, California dumped tons of garbage onto this nearby beach. The ocean transformed it over the years into thousands of smooth, colored glass pebbles. You are able to reach the beach by foot by a short climb down the cliffs. Picture is from pinterest.com

I think it's funny how people like to look for what they call 'sea glass' - in other words, litter.
