Took Bob out today

When Bob got up, after breakfast, I took him over to Hillsboro. He has mostly only had me cut his hair for as long as I have known him. I am tired of it, and not good at it. His beard was awful too. We went to Sgt. LaPerle's Barbershop. Bob went there one other time a year or two ago. Sgt. LaPerle is a retired Marine and has military type decor in his shop. One customer was ahead of Bob. Sgt. LaPerle did a very painstaking job with him. Lots of product on the hairline, etc. The man is his neighbor in town and they are about the same age. Bob was tired before we got there. It really showed. He did not complain, though. The hair cut seems to have taken 20 years off of him, and the beard trim is great. So much cleaner and neater. Worth every cent.

I am glad you were able to get him his haircut and beard trim. I know that helps moral a lot.

I think Sgt. LePerle has a good sense of who wants the full on "spa treatment" services and those who just want it done and over with.

Everything is so expensive now, but shops have overhead and shop owners have families to take care of. He is quite the professional.
