How hot is the weather in your place today?

It has been so hot day and night over the last few weeks. Luckily, our house is pretty well insulated, so we just keep all the doors and windows closed to keep the cool air inside. I’ve been running a fan every night since I don't like keeping the AC on while sleeping. I'm making sure to drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. I'll probably have some ice cream later this afternoon. I made mango and chocolate batches yesterday.

It's been pleasantly not hot and breezy here and we even had some rain yesterday
The lower temperatures there are higher than we have had here in the last week
Ice cream, yes please
Mango sounds awesome and obviously so does chocolate

Our criteria for heatwave is like 3 days where it gets to 28C I think

@Ineeddentures 28°C was not bad at all. Last week, the temperature where I live in Central Portugal reached 41°C during the daytime.

it is really hot in calcutta now. Max temperature is around 36 degree and humidity 90 per cent

@Ayu2026 thanks Ayu in the office I sit under the fan. At home I switch on the AC for few hours and then switch the fan. Running the AC for a long time adds huge electricity bill

Ours is a country where the temperature rises very high , especially during summer. Like you I also keep the ceiling fan the whole day and night.

Honestly speaking, I feel like that, too. Recently at a school the ceiling fan suddenly fell on a teacher's foot. Fortunately it didn't break his foot.

Mango ice cream sounds refreshing. It has been in the 90 F range this week. Not as hot as you are. I would not want to turn off my a/c at night, but I do set it warmer.
