It has been so hot day and night over the last few weeks. Luckily, our house is pretty well insulated, so we just keep all the doors and windows closed to keep the cool air inside. I’ve been running a fan every night since I don't like keeping the AC on while sleeping. I'm making sure to drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. I'll probably have some ice cream later this afternoon. I made mango and chocolate batches yesterday.

The heatwave is over and today we have a very nice temperature, it's 28 C right now and it's 2 pm.

@Ayu2026 The past 10 days we had a severe heatwave and the temperature was all the time over 35 C in the afternoon.

@LadyDuck I'm so glad you got through those hot days! I really wonder how vulnerable people, like the elderly and babies, manage to tolerate this kind of heat.

That's lovely! At least it's not above 30. Thirty is my limit for going outside. I'd much prefer to stay inside when it gets warmer than that.

I’ve got my air conditioner on, AND my fan is on. It’s just too hot and humid to tolerate this hot weather nonsense.

That's basically twice the cooling power. Since energy prices are so high now, I can only imagine what your bills will look like by the end of the summer!

@Ayu2026 No, it won’t be bad. The fan is so I don’t have to have the air going 24/7. Having it run will save me money. Not that it will be classified as a reasonable bill. The price of electricity has definitely gone up.

We are at the point when you couldn't possibly dream of turning off the AC. Our daytime temps have been in the 100s.

It's 98.6 degrees out right now... We don't have AC, but I'm thinking about getting one for next summer.

It's been pleasantly not hot and breezy here and we even had some rain yesterday The lower temperatures there are higher than we have had here in the last week Ice cream, yes please Mango sounds awesome and obviously so does chocolate
