By the thermometer. But you can't tell it by how the air feels outside. It's still very muggy.
Hubby did get the rest of the yard mowed. I don't think it really needed it. So don't mind skipping mine this week.
I did nothing except play on my phone again. I will crochet a little bit tonight. I thought I would have the slippers done this week but that isn't going to happen.

@wolfgirl569 When it's so hot even early in the morning there is not a lot we can do. Staying outside is too hot.

I am hoping we get back to that soon. It was 80 when I got up at 8. That's too much even for me

Muggy and hot is our normal summer temp here but it HAS been hotter than normal for our area for several days now. We're under the heat dome again here. Pretty and I stay in the house as much as we can and keep the air cranked up.
Everything i staying nice and green with all the rain we've been getting lately, The older neighbor mowed for us yesterday.

The humidity has been just terrible for days. Stay inside as much as possible! It's OK to rest, other than feeding the critters, it can all wait a few days longer.
