It looks like the fireworks are going to be rained out

That's too bad, it really puts a damper on the fireworks though.

We had several loud booming thunderstorms in the night. Another one about 11 am. Then 2 more this afternoon. It's dark and gloomy. In the last two hours, we have weirdly had quite a few warnings. Three severe thunderstorm warnings, Three severe thunderstorm watches, two tornado watches, and one tornado warning. The tornado stuff didn't last long at all before it was cancelled, it appears we will just have regular storms. Time will tell. Oh, and in the night during the thunderstorms there was a peaceful one hour respite from the idiots who were setting off booming, loud fireworks. But as soon as it stopped storming, they resumed their onslaught on us poor people who were trying to rest. I will be SO glad when this is over.

We’re likely to get some rain too. I don’t know how that is going to affect tonight’s fireworks, but I didn’t plan to watch them anyway. I’m just glad my dad and Diana got home okay before any storms started.

I would love a good storm here.

Too bad. We have so many wildfires in Colorado right now that they've cancelled a lot of the planned fireworks displays tonight.

The rain will definitely affect the fireworks..or maybe not..what do I know

I am watching the fireworks right now from my porch.

That is a shame, no parade in Washington DC because of the heat and now a storm there. America seems not to want to celebrate under this president.

I'm sorry the weather is not co-operating. Weather tends to do that.
