So, I buy broccoli ….. I don’t buy broccoli to eat …… Oh dear me, no ! I buy broccoli to throw away …… I don’t know what it is about broccoli but I always seem to forget about it….and it goes bad …..and I throw it away. I had to stop myself from buying it for a long time as I knew I would just be throwing away soon…. What foodstuff do you buy but regularly throw away … ?

It used to be condiments. It seemed like I used condiments so rarely it was silly for me to buy any. I think mustard might have been the most used condiment I ever have unless you count sour cream.

@Traceyjayne I usually just get yellow mustard. While Dijon mustard is my favorite, the regular yellow mustard is just more handy.

It's probably lettuce for me. I buy it then end up having to throw the last of it away.

Stuff I can't chew. I mangle it around in my mouth and hopefully get some nutrients out and then spit it out.

I never, ever toss fresh vegetables. We love them, if we have them, we eat them. Fresh broccoli is delicious, there is no way I wouldn't fix it and eat it. If it's fresh and you don't think you can eat it before it spoils, you can freeze it.
