The day after..Everything is calm and quiet here. Luckily whomever was shooting things off last night quit around 11 PM so I was able to get to sleep. Plus, they didn't have those noisy mortars like they had the first night. SSDD is terms of the weather, but it isn't quite as hot..we will have storms again, just not certain what time. It might be earlier than yesterday. I am gonna get my butt out of here today though. I have been cooped up in here long enough. What are you up to this Sunday?

Muggy here today, and overcast.
I have had a great morning thusfar.
Yesterday on the local radio station in our car, I heard that Bryan Adams is doing a tour, and is scheduled to appear in our city next month. I went online and bought us tickets to the show.
It is being held in a very small venue, we actually saw him there once before.
After that I went out to the Italian bakery/deli and picked up our stock of deli meats and cheeses that we will use this week.
Have a great, and hopefully, quiet, Sunday.

Thanks, ooh, that will be fun to go to a concert. SSDD same stuff, different day..actually though the stuff is usually said as s**t. You can use either or.

Bryan Adams performed live on Canada Day for our prime minister in Ottawa, as well as the crowd that gathered there. We have long been fans of his. He puts on a really good show here in our city, the small Canada Life Place makes feel like you are in a school gymnasium, and who wouldn't like that for a nice concert experience?

@Juliaacv Oh yeah, it would be close up and intimate. You know who Dave Matthews is right? I got a free ticket to one of his concerts one time for working on a political campaign. It was the last ticket they had available and was a single much to friend's dismay.. I went and was sitting up high in the stands. Dave saw me sitting up there by myself and had me come down front..so I got an excellent seat for the show!

Well, you know I’ll be praising the Lord in the air conditioning. I hope to the heavens by the end of the service the power is back on at my house or at least my dad’s. We both have medicine that needs to be refrigerated.
I hope you can get out of there today and enjoy some time out of the house.

@snowy22315 well, last night my news app said almost 100% of OKC and surrounding cities were without power. This morning, they are saying 34% are without power. So, there is progress. It just seems so slow.

I hope I can hit the sweet spot between high heat and storms. I hope your AC is back too. What is the news saying. It may be awhile if so many power outages happened.
