My mother and I watched Ruby Red. It's a German movie. It is on Netflix. It doesn't have subtitles. I found out it is based on a book series by Kerstin Gier. No, I haven't read the books. The movie has Josefine Preuß, Laura Berlin, Johannes Silberschneider, Maria Ehrich, Veronica Ferres, Jannis Niewöhner, and Sibylle Canonica in it. Big Warning: there is some violence and a cliffhanger ending. Spoiler below. In this movie, a girl named Gwendolyn has just turned 16. Her family has some weird secrets. She thinks her cousin has the power to time travel. Her family thinks her cousin is the next in line to have this power. But Gwendolyn starts seeing ghosts and accidently travel back in time. She finally tells her mother about this and she has to visit a secret society. This secret society can help her control the power and they give her missions like she's a spy. Her cousin is really upset about this and she even had thing going with another time traveler. Instead the male time traveler falls for Gwendolyn. My mother and I liked the movie. The book series has three books so there are three movies. So we are watching next Sapphire Blue.
