So many courgettes ….

Oh my days …..
I have never grown courgettes before and didn’t know what to expect ….i am going to have ( almost ) hundreds of the little beauties…..
There are loads of flowers and courgettes are growing too now …
Oh, I’m really chuffed….
It’s really made my day …..

You shouldn't have planted so many of them. SOME of your neighbors will accept any you don't want, I'm sure. Just don't go out after dark sticking bags of them on their doorsteps for them to find the next morning...

@Traceyjayne Uh huh... Some of them might agree that it's a benefit to them... Next year, you'll know to plant two seeds and wait to see what you get. Mom usually planted half a dozen because she gave eggplants to friends, neighbors and her horde of kids.

I know ….i know that sometimes not everything you plant grows , or is strong enough to survive. That’s why I planted 12 seeds ….i was thinking I may end up with 6 …..all 12 grew strong so I planted them all …..I also didn’t realise quite how many courgettes there would be on each plant ….its my first year growing courgettes so it was always going to be a learning curve ….next year I will plant fewer seeds and plant at different times for a longer yield time ….
My Mom and neighbours will benefit though …

Too many it seems.
I'm happy my grandson doesn't have the infection we thought earlier today. That makes me happy. No sickness in the house.
