So many courgettes ….

@Traceyjayne Uh huh... Some of them might agree that it's a benefit to them... Next year, you'll know to plant two seeds and wait to see what you get. Mom usually planted half a dozen because she gave eggplants to friends, neighbors and her horde of kids.

I know ….i know that sometimes not everything you plant grows , or is strong enough to survive. That’s why I planted 12 seeds ….i was thinking I may end up with 6 …..all 12 grew strong so I planted them all …..I also didn’t realise quite how many courgettes there would be on each plant ….its my first year growing courgettes so it was always going to be a learning curve ….next year I will plant fewer seeds and plant at different times for a longer yield time …. My Mom and neighbours will benefit though …

@Traceyjayne The strong plants will possibly crowd out the weak.

They have plenty of space so I will leave them as they are ….

Being without electricity is miserable and tough isn’t it …..I’m pleased you have your power back. We do sometimes have power cuts, but they rarely last more than a few hours.

@Traceyjayne Thanks. I'm not feeling well again. It sucks getting old. And my shoulders/arms are hurting; and it makes it hard to type too.
