Do you like a buffet ? / myLot

There was a debate on tv today asking if there is still a place for a buffet ….. Apparently, a singer got married recently and had a buffet. Shock horror, but there was a queue…..people had to wait …..as these were mainly Celebs, they didn’t like waiting. ( Oh dear ! How sad ! Never mind !) Anyway it got me thinking ….. Personally , I love a buffet, lots of choice of different foods, if there is something you particularly enjoyed you can go back for more ….. What do you think ? Is there still a place for a buffet ? ……pros and cons ? Do you like a buffet ? What foods would you put on a buffet ?

We still have a lot of places for buffet here. And I do enjoy them once in awhile. When we hold parties and events, it's usually a buffet too, including weddings but the guest of honors are seated and served.

Is there place for a buffet? Surely you jest for asking this question!

I absolutely love a buffet, and my favorite is a buffet of Chinese food. Oh, man, does that sound delicious. People may bring up germs, but they have those plexiglass guards over them. Your face never goes over any of the food. There used to be this place nearby called Souper Salad, with a buffet of about 8 soups, and 15 kinds of salad (pasta salads, cucumber, green…) fruit, and desserts with frozen yogurt. I absolutely loved that place!
