A message to all users about 'blocking' here in myLot.

July 11, 2026 9:13am CST
The 'block' option here unfortunately does not work correctly. If you block a user here, you may no longer interact in that person's discussions. You may not 'like' ANY part of that discussion. This includes the discussion itself and any responses and/or comments under that discussion. If you block someone you should then act as though you cannot see their discussions even though you can see them. I will repeat, you should have absolutely no type of interaction that has anything to do with anything in any discussion of a user you have blocked. You blocked them to prevent them from interacting in your discussions, therefore stay away from their discussions. I hope I have made my position on this perfectly clear.

That is as it should be. Where is the reason to block someone and then to go read their discussions and post comments?

That makes sense to me. I do not recall blocking more than one or two people ever. Some may have blocked me, however.
