Ouch, It Hurt So Much......

Ouch, I pinched my index finger a little while ago.
I was taking the garbage bag liner out of the tall kitchen garbage can. The bags that I ibuy are a little longer than the can is tall, so I always fold over a bit of the bag at the top. I was flipping that part of the bag in so that I could tie it and have my husband take it out.
But.....the garbage weighed more than usual and the gab came down and I dropped the top part of the plastic can liner with the actual can. And my finger wasn't as quick as it could have been, and it got crushed in the middle.
The weight of the garbage was significant, and when I withdrew my finger it was throbbing and I put it under some cold water that I ran from the tap. But the damage was done, and my finger was, and still is throbbing.
I have a blood blister that has formed.
When did you last hurt yourself so much that you cried?

I hope your finger stops hurting, and I'm wishing you quick healing. Luckily I have not had any "ouchies" lately.

Ouchy! I don't remember really. I have hurt myself plenty of times but I don't remember crying about it. I might have moaned a bit. I know I have done that.

Sorry about the blister. Hope it heals soon. Back in 2019, the fingertips of my right hand got "burned" by steam from boiling water. I made the mistake of not wearing a mitt while pouring boiling water from a kettle. The kettle lid popped because of the pressure (?) and the hot water vapor caused my hand and fingers to stuffer from steam burn. I normally have very high tolerance for pain, but this burn had me crying for a few hours. My husband rushed me to the emergency because first aid wouldn't work.
We now use an electric kettle that has a very secure lid and the handle is on the side, not on the top.

That's unexpected. I got.mine. my left pinky finger was cut by a tip of clothesline while I was fixing a leafing roof. First didn't feel it not until I was done working. I washed it wuth clean water and put a band aid.

Burns, especially steam burns, are a whole other pain level.
We feel them very deep.
This hurt and felt hot, I immediately put it under cold water.
It throbbed until just before I went to bed, and then it just hurt.
This morning it doesn't hurt, it feels swollen and numb.

I don't remember the last time I was in too much pain that I cried. I have very high tolerance for pain and I hardly cry at all.
I'm sorry that you had that accident.

@LadyDuck Since we are going to the park this morning, and there is a wading pool, I applied spray on sunscreen a little while ago. I did not have the strength in that finger to spray the button, but that button has not been sprayed many times and is stiff.

I remember you talking about that blister.
This one is deep and a large size.
It throbbed until just before I went to bed.
This morning it is swollen, purple and numb.
The girls have doctor kits, so I will show them when I get there, I am sure that they will prescribe a bandaid, they put bandaids on everything.

About two weeks ago when I stubbed my toe on my bedframe in the middle of the night.
