Another price increase. Will the postal service ever come out of their problems? Doubtful.
This stamp was created in 2007 to help the consumer with future price changes. In July 2025 the price went from 73 to 78 cents. Today it is going from 78 cents to 82 cents.
The value of the Forever stamp is always equal to the current first class mail 1-ounce rate even if postage increases.

We always buy a book of forever stamps when we run out. We used the last 42 cent stamp on a letter a couple of months ago. Pretty doesn't want to buy them by the book anymore since she has to pay for them. I tried to tell her we saved a LOT of money by buying them cheaply and using them slowly but she wants to buy one stamp at a time. *shrug* She's paying for them so I guess I shouldn't worry about it.
