Did You See About Sam Neill?

My husband actually showed me this morning because he knew it would rock my world.
Sam Neill has passed at the age of 78.
One of my favorite Jurassic Park stars that has been with me since childhood has left the world.
Yeah I know that was a bit dramatic but I feel a bit dramatic right now.
I know he did other things. He played in an amazing movie called Merlin. I know there was a sequel to it but this one was just amazing. He was also in Triangle which was another awesome movie.
Sam Neill was other things as well.
He was a husband, a father and a grandfather. A knight and an environmental activist.
Right now they don't know what he passed from however, they remain adamant that the cancer Neill had was gone and not the cause.
I'm just in shock and it rocked my world this morning. I will attempt to recover but I don't know about this one.

He just seemed like a laid back guy, I never knew he was from Northern Ireland and he I think they used the word immigrated to New Zealand before becoming an actor.

@JordanLader I didn’t know he was born in Ireland until you just mentioned it. Always thought he was a New Zealander!

@Orson_Kart I didn't know either one until this morning. I kind of remember someone saying it a while ago.....like a long while ago but it's not something that stuck I guess.

i read it on yahoo news today. can't believe it. he was an amazing actor. i first thought he was english then i found out he wasn't. i think he fought cancer, maybe he relapsed. very sad news.
