Tuesday Coffee and some Chit Chat

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's partly sunny here this morning with temperatures going up once again and we're looking at another heat wave for the next few days. Regardless of the temperatures outside I'm enjoying my coffee and the a/c Since I hurt my back a few days ago and am limited to what I can do I've been reading. I found a book by an author I had never read before (The Body Man by Eric Bishop) which was a page turner right from the get go. I zipped through that book so fast and was disappointed when it ended. So, I HAD to get the second book in the series and it should arrive today. I love thrillers, mysteries and this was full of espionage. I also did a little bit of online shopping at Hobby Lobby and put a whole bunch of yarn in my cart Somehow I get satisfaction just fake shopping. We've been eating a lot of salads lately and I found one at Sams Club that is delicious. Never would have thought I'd use the word delicious talking about salad. It's a strawberry salad kit by Taylor Farms so all you have to do is dump it in a bowl and mix it up a bit. I've been adding some additional sliced fresh strawberries and it's absolutely refreshing on these hot days. Just something different from the same old same old. Can't say there's much going on here. No complains as I'm very happy with dull, boring and routine. How's things today in your little corner of the myLot world?
