Prepared for the heatwave

When I went out to do my return I picked up some salad, fruit, cheese, light ice cream and light beer. ALso a bag of broccoli but that is not heat related. This one is going to be shorter. It will be over by Saturday. Yay! The one over the 4th it was still hot on Saturday. So, we have a small improvement. Are you ready to beat the heat?

I was ready to beat the heat. I had grocery delivery the past Friday and I ordered all I needed to prepare cold meals only.

@LadyDuck It will probably be like that today and tomorrow as well as Friday. At the moment though, it is OK. It is just 9:05 AM though.

I am just surviving this round of heat. The mere thought that we are almost halfway through the month tell me that there cannot be alot of long heatwaves left. And my thoughts do run towards winter.

Can't wait until ]fall personally. If this winter is anything like last winter, I am going to seriously look into moving somewhere a bit more civilized even if it costs more initially.

That was a good idea. You know I’m never really ready, but I did buy some shorts. I had been in a palazzo pants phase, but as cool as those are, shorts are better, no doubt, for the heat.

I won't be trying to beat the heat. Our heat might reach 29C And I will be on the bike atmthe high point of the heat so it won't bother me Broccoli is good for helping with the heat. Freeze it , and then great it as an icicle
