I had to have a hot flash this afternoon while out in the heat 
. I sat down and waited for it to pass. I don't mind them when I am outside in the winter 
. But with it in the high 80s I don't need more heat.
I didn't buy anything at the auction today. That just means I brought all of my money home. That's always a good thing. But someone did bring us a portable AC unit. It's hooked up in the bedroom ready to use tonight. I sat in front of it for a few making sure it works.
I have shredded cabbage and started 4 quarts of sauerkraut. That will be enough as I still have some left from last year. I also sliced some more onions and am waiting for them to freeze. When I get them bagged up I will slice some more. So the harvest is going good. Thursday night I will pull the bigger cabbage heads and take them to the auction. I might take some of the onions too. It depends how many I get into the freezer before then.
I haven't done much else today except sit by my fan. Hope you had a good day.

That would have been very nice. Hot flashes are a huge pain.
You might want to get one ordered. They are selling fast here.

Somedays it seems like all you can do is concentrate on keeping cool. You are going to enjoy having that AC.

It's suppose to be hotter B-4 the rain comes
They have a heat advisory out for a few days
cause of people who have breathing problems
I can't be out in the heat so we work after 7pm
on the fish shelter with a good fan going.

Haven't used it in years as it never could fully cool the house. Plus I get sick from being in and out a lot when we used it.

You are such a busy beaver!! I have never made my own sauerkraut but I did one year make green tomato relish!!

It is. Some retain flavor really well too. I use the red ones
