Wat Pho houses the Reclining Buddha, but there is more to it than that. It is a temple complex that houses more than a thousand Buddha images. There are colorful chedis/towers or pagodas decorated with intricate porcelain tile mosaics, stood tall against the bright sky and added so much character to the peaceful surroundings.
Every corner seemed to showcase impressive craftsmanship and centuries of history. Even though the weather was very hot, taking my time to admire the temples, statues, and detailed architecture made the visit truly worthwhile. This is also the place where the Thai traditional massage originated.
Outside the temple, one can rent Thai traditional dresses to wear while visiting the temple and have their photo taken.

Did you rent a dress and get your photo taken while wearing it?

Of course, Americans would have fun with a name like this. Kind of like the many jokes around Asian names, like what's the name of a Chinaman who always goofs things up? Sum Ting Wong. lol.
"They put this temple here."
"Wat pho?" For...what for. lol
Anyway.
