Took a walk along a stretch of the canal I not been along for a while. There were some new arrivals. I do like the artwork on some of these boats. The first one looks like it is inspired by the film 300. There was no name, but I am thinking that the boat was called Leonidas. The second one was called dragon. Guessing it is the same design on the other side.

Some are holiday homes while others are full time homes. Many folks live a wandering lifestyle and for others they are moored permanent. Little Venice in Paddington is the London spot for those

Not sure if they are holiday boats. That part of the canal is not a permanent mooring, but people do live full time on these types of boats and just move along from time to time.

Those look good. We hired a narrow boat on the River Shannon some years ago. We had a great trip up and down the river.

@Ronrybs I think we had about five nights on it but it wasn't cheap. We thought seriously about buying a cabin cruiser on the Shannon and going over each year but luckily thought better of it! The lovely owner of the boat-yard told us a few facts and figures and we quickly changed our minds! lol
