So, last night I was minding my own business happily swimming along when I got a big bite from something on my back. It has happened before, but not recently. I figured it was a fish so I just kept on swimming..then it happened again, and it hurt. I was like What the heck? I don't look like a worm. Anyway, I moved to a different location. I am sure they are hungry but they aren't going to get a bite out of me. There was an area in the mountains we used to swim in where fish were biting your ankles all the time. That was not too much fun. Have you ever been bit by a fish?

It has been a few years for me too. It was startling.

It isn't really scary just annoying, and a fish bite can be painful. I should look to see if there is a mark on my back. It makes me think how much more magnified a shark bite would be. There are a few other aquatic creatures around besides fish here, but I haven't run into them swimming or vice versa.

@snowy22315 - I know there are water snakes and those are the creatures I fear most.

@LadyDuck There are snakes in the seawalls, but I have only seen baby ones actually in the water

Not that I can remember. Never know what's swimming in the lake besides you

No, they are not that painful just like maybe like a slight bump to your arm.
