It has been a couple of hectic days

Yesterday was my cardiac imaging. I stressed about driving into a part of Wichita I am not familiar with. Also, I hate parking garages, but that is where I parked.Stress is tiresome. Finding my way to the German Restaurant afterwards was a tiny bit challenging. Finding parking there. Bob walks very unsteadily and slowly, so I am always afraid I am losing him.Or that he will get hurt. At the hospital he did consent to be pushed around in a wheel chair. Today Bob was to see a new doctor. Again, in Wichita, but in a better area. In spite of what Google Maps told me, I knew a short cut. It worked. Bob was grumpy about having to see someone else to "poke at me and tell me what to do." He was tired, so the dementia symptoms were stronger. We had clothing issues and unwillingness to eat. I had to stop for gas on the way. You know, it all worked out. We arrived in plenty of time to do paperwork. The people in the office of the gastroenterologist were very good, very understanding of older people. The office was nicely laid out. Parking was good and we found a spot close to the entrance. Public bathrooms were very easy to find. We saw Dr. Farha. She is a nice looking "young" looking lady. She asked questions that were pertinent, and listened. When she learned that Bob had had some testing while in St. Theresa's she was able to pull up the records online. She told us more than they did about those tests. In addition to testing for CDiff they tested for fifteen other bowel diseases. He is negative for all. Basically she said she saw nothing to cause any concerns. Some people are just naturally prone to diarrhea. We are controlling it well with one little pill in the morning. If we over correct, skip a pill, and give fiber supplements. It is not a milk allergy either. There is no reason at this time to come back, but feel free to call if other gastric problems come up. Bob was in a much better mood afterwards. My brother and his wife came and visited. My brother bought Bob's gun, a 22 from him. I wanted to give it to him. I wanted it out of the house. So now Bob is in bed and I am having some "me" time and winding down. Goodnight all.

I'm glad you were able to find your way especially in a "bad" part of Wichita. I'm glad somebody explained what the tests Bob already took meant and that he doesn't need to go back any time soon. (I'm always happy when a doctor or nurse takes the time to explain exactly what they found when giving me tests instead of somebody calling and saying everything looks good, but let's try a few more tests now. ) I had trouble getting to the bathroom this evening. I had to call for Pretty to help me get there and get back into my bed. My legs kept wobbling and making me feel like I was going to fall. Hopefully, that won't happen again very soon. I hope both of you sleep well tonight.
