Thunder, Lightening and Flickering Lights

Happy Saturday everyone! It's a crazy weather day here today. A storm just passed through our area with thunder so loud it shook the house.
As soon as the lights flickered I quickly closed my power recliner because I've gotten stuck with it open on more than one occasion. Of course being stuck in an open chair is exactly when your bladder needs attention 
That storm passed , our Walmart delivery came and now the sky is getting dark again and I can hear thunder in the distance.
Glad we didn't have any plans for today.

We do have sunshine, and 100 degree heat. We had a shower yesterday though, and it was needed. Of course, after that Fourth of July storm I just always hope the electricity doesn’t go out. I can’t take four days with no air again.
And I know what you mean about getting stuck in that power recliner. I have my late grandma’s, and I got stuck once after a storm cut the power. It wasn’t pretty!

It is, and we do, sun out for now. and it is breezy. We may get a storm today and we may not.

The last 2 nights have been strange for this time of year in my desert, we got a really good thunder storm with lots of rain both nights. I think we might get more tonight. I'm not complaining, the more it rains the lower my water bill will be.

We had all three of those things happen around 6 am this morning. Luckily, the power only flickered and came right back on again.

I remember when you were stuck in your recliner.
Our recliners on the ends of the couch are not power, for that reason, not that we lose our hydro often, but it does go out on occasion
We have a breezy and sunny day.
The heatwave and the smoke seems to be a thing of the past for our region currently.
