A rainy Sunday

A lovely, slow Sunday in Kolkata. There’s something special about the city’s vibe on a weekend. I’m spending today practising presence- no rush, no wandering thoughts, just living in the present. It’s a work in progress, but it feels great. I love the rain pattering against the glass windows of my room.
How are you spending your Sunday to get ready for the coming week?

That does sound nice. I often open the curtains in my bedroom so I can watch rain or storms. Lightning is beautiful as long as I'm inside a car or house.
I fell asleep this morning and slept until 3 pm... It was lovely!
I'm retired so the only things I PLAN to do is cook, read books on my phone and talk with wonderful friends on myLot.

I did some grocery shopping earlier and then I came home and watched the world cup. I also did some laundry. We had a couple of rainstorms. I think we are done for tonight though. It is cool and pleasant out.

I should alos practice presence, I think. I can understand how it reduces stress. I spent Sunday just at home with Bob.

That is good. Yeah I am trying to practice being in the present. I have been melancholic for some days.

I did some work earlier today by placing the garbage cans outside of the home this morning before going to work on sharing a news story and working on completing surveys.

Yeah true. What I like about Kolkata is that its very economical. It has IT hub akin to Hyderabad, Bangalore but it isn't as costly as them.
