This is a poem I wrote for Martin for his birthday.
Forever Autumn
So long since hands we held, so long since we kissed, soulmates, you and I, forever entwined in love. Through the years, just you and I, whether day or night – dancing in the moonlight or the summer rain. It took but one moment for the angels to whisk you away; I never got to say one more – I love you. Now in my heart forever autumn.
May your birthday be joyful up above; remember me here below until we are together again. Remember me as I remember you, dreaming of a new spring for now, forever autumn.
That photo of us was taken on one of our trip to the US, We were in Salem, Massachusetts.

@Traceyjayne I moved my mom back to her homeland, Latvia, so she could live out her days in the place where she was born, Riga, Latvia. Mom was already in her early 80s and as it was, she got two more years there and passed away and I met Martin and stayed there.
