Orange Lilies for the garden ....

We popped into a supermarket for some wine glasses .....that's another post for tomorrow ....and outside there were some plants.
The Mister can never walk past plants of any kind ....I knew what was coming ...
Yes.....I spotted something and commented on how unusual they were.
Turns out they are orange lilies.....
They were on offer 3 for 2 ....
He couldn't resist....
The Mister has gone home today but left the plants with me so that I can keep them watered.
No flowers yet but hopefully there will be lots.
I think orange lilies sound nice and hopefully they will be very pretty.
Do you buy plants for your garden ?

He has really got into gardening the last 6 or 7 years ....we are still.learning but he really loves it .
I am more fruits and veggies, he is more flowers ...

@Traceyjayne I have a collection of foliage plants. I'm not really into flowers though I love to appreciate flowering plants as well.

I have several orange lilies growing at the front of the porch beside the pampas grass. Most of mine have already finished blooming, I think.

@Traceyjayne Orange isn't my favorite color, either, but the flowers are nice. I can't get near them when they're blooming because I'm allergic to their pollen but as long as I don't bother them, they're fine. Same with the gladiolus in my front flowerbed. When they're blooming, I can't get around them. I'm allergic to the pollen. *shrug* It would have been nice knowing I was going to become allergic to those. I wouldn't have planted them years ago when we moved into this house if I'd known that.

@DaddyEvil it's sad you can't get too close to them ....I have hayfever so I have to be careful around flowers and plants.
I think the fact I have hayfever is probably why I am.more into growing fruits and veggies ...oh ...when The Mister came to the caravan on Friday he had picked my second courgette. I will have that with my chicken tomorrow. He says there are plenty more starting to grow ....

I am looking forward to seeing the flowers....orange isn't my favourite colour but from the photo these flowers will be pretty.

@traceyjayne I’m a sucker for plants. I like going to garden centres (avoiding their extortionate cafes) just to look at nice plants but I always end up buying something and it’s never cheap.

@xFiacre ....just like The Mister ....we go for a look around and come away with a trolley full ...
The cafes are nice but like you say so very expensive.

Orange lilies sound like a lovely addition to the garden! It's funny how some people just can't walk past a plant display without bringing something home. The 3-for-2 offer probably made it even harder to resist!
