Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 74 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 84. Fine with me!
I was up in the middle of the night but eventually got back to sleep so I didn't wake up until 10am. I've been sleeping a lot lately. I guess my body needs it. Whatever it is fine. I don't have to be on a schedule until September.
I have no big plans for the day. I'm going to head over to the pool in like half an hour when it opens. I'll do a couple of hours over there. When I get back I need to soak in the tub and use the exfoliating scrub that I have because I have so much dry flaky skin. It is nuts.
Aside from working on my melanoma I need to get going on my cooking projects--bread and butter pickles, spinach quiche, and Cobb salad. I love cooking but I've lost my motivation lately. I need to get that back.

Good afternoon. It is currently 90F in my part of Missouri at 12:15 pm. We're under the heat dome until Tuesday night. The RealFeel is 107F and we haven't even reached our high of 95F yet.
If your body wants more sleep, now is the time to get it.
Yeah, I had melanoma removed in three places a few years ago. You definitely want to be careful. I hate seeing all the scars I've gotten from having cancers removed. It embarrasses me for other people to see any of the scars. 
I dreamed Pretty woke me up a little while ago and asked me to help her carry in our groceries my brother picked up for us from Walmart. I went out and started bringing stuff inside and realized Pretty wasn't helping me. I yelled and asked what she was doing because I needed help. She came out of her bedroom and asked if Uncle Steve was here because she didn't hear him ring the doorbell... 
Steve just puts the groceries on the porch, rings the bell and leaves. Thankfully, nothing had melted yet.
Oh, yeah, I found something I thought you'd enjoy on another site so I'll put it here for you.

I’ve had lunch and I have to exchange something at Meijer. Then home because we’re under an air quality alert and there’s only so much albuterol they’ll let me have in a day without going to the ER.
