I put a few gallons in yesterday at something like $5.12/gallon. Today I drove by the station, and the price was $5.25 That's up 35 cents from the short-term low of $4.90 a few weeks ago. Are gas prices rising again where you live?

We haven't been going anywhere so still don't need gas. I checked the price a few days ago when you said something about gas and it was $3.46 a gallon at Walmart. I just checked again and the price is $3.50 a gallon at Walmart.

@TheHorse True but I'm sure everybody in the US is griping about the prices going up again, even when it's only a little bit.

Yup, I've noticed them going up here too. They were going down for a little while, but now they're back up.

The went up again (only about five cents) after I wrote this post. I feel like apologizing to anyone who is not American. But I am not really personally responsible for what has happened.

I don't know the prices around here. With Trump's war it will probably continue to flucuate and be higher.

Yep. Fluctuation with an overall upward trend.

When ceasefire was announced, we were happy as price increases were stalled. However, looking at the situation again, I worry that prices might be increased again. Also my car usage has increased over the past few months, so I am feeling the pinch. Countries across the world could see increases over the next few months.

Apologies. What more can I say. I did not ever vote for Trump, even in 2016, when I thought he was kind of funny.

It's amazing how a change at the pump doesn't just affect drivers. Higher fuel prices have a way of filtering through the economy, so before long you start noticing it in the cost of everyday things too.

we haven't been out in a few weeks so I would think if there going up where you are then more than likely there going up just about everywhere else.

As long as the Middle East crisis, especially the Iran war, remains unresolved, I believe oil prices will continue to rise. In my country, the price of unsubsidized oil has already risen by more than 30% compared to its current price. However, fossil fuel prices would continue to rise even without the Middle East crisis.
