My Heart is Broken

Without knowing what's going on it's kind of hard to offer advice. But, I can honestly say that the only thing that got me through those bleakest times was prayer and probably a boatload of tears.

What's wrong? I see you didn't share. You can message me if you feel up to it. It sounds trite, but with me at least the passage of time heals all wounds. I wish I had something better than that, but it really is true.

As you say, there aren't really many options. As Churchill allegedly said, 'When you're going through Hell, keep going'.

There's only one way to overcome when life tries to throw those dark darts at you - Jesus. Have a blessed day.

I am praying for you Sweetie. If you feel like you have nothing else right now, you DO have alot of friends and their support and prayers.

I was at a very low point when I was 23 and my husband left me for another woman. I was devastated. I didn't see it coming. It shook me to my very core. I felt humiliated and rejected and broken emotionally. It hurt me financially as well going from a nice house back to an apartment and having to live paycheck-to-paycheck. I overcame it a bad way - finding bad ways to take my mind off of it. But eventually I had the strength to stand up for myself and quit being a doormat. I wasn't a Christian when I was doing the bad things, but looking back, God was with me the whole time and saved me from myself as I had put myself in terrible chances of harm's way. I just kept living.
