Wheee! I vacuumed up two cats this morning.

I realized this morning I had not vacuumed in awhile. Vacuuming is one of my great remaining pleasures. I wound up picking up about two cats worth of hair, plus a few unidentified small objects. I think I have earned a trip to the pool. How often do you vacuum?

I vacuum weekly, and I'm still completely baffled at how much dirt, dust and hair accumulates in my house in between those weekly vacuums. Every time I vacuum the canister on the vacuum completely fills up and has to be emptied.

It is surprising, isn't it? I just did another run and managed to vacuum up another cat.

@TheHorse I don't even have cats (or pets), so I can imagine how much worse it must be for you having to vacuum up all that cat hair.

@moffittjc Some of it is "invisible." Until it's in the vacuum cleaner bin.

I should more than I do with having a border collie.

@wolfgirl569 I'd imagine birds don't obey very well.

We used to vacuum about 3-4 times a week. Now with tile downstairs and vinyl up here we mop.

In this small apartment there is just a handheld vacuum, and whenever I see some accumulated dirt,

Do you always come up with some satisfying dust? I may vacuum again before I head to the pool, just to see if I missed anything.

I've had Corgi dogs over the years. They have the thickest coats, and do they ever shed! I used to say the same thing, that I vacuumed up at least enough fur to build several more dogs every week.

Can you see what they shed? I am surprised by how much cat hair I vacuum up.

Almost never. We have an all tile house, and a few rugs. George used to do it, but can't anymore and the vacumm is to heavy for me.

You certainly deserved a dip in the pool after vacuuming up two cats and a few objects. I vacuum once or twice a week and have scooped up many of those small unidentifiable objects.
