I got a reprieve from weighing myself this morning as I found the batteries in the scale dead. At least I think that is what it was. I can't remember the last time I changed them..so that is my first recourse. I have truly had this scale forever though. I wouldn't mind getting a new one. How long have you had your scale?

I am surprised Yvonne doesn't insist on it. I guess neither of you are weight concerned.

@snowy22315 Well let's see Given Yvonne was less than 50kg at one point when she was ill, her being over weight won't ever be a big issue Now me, I control my weight quite well. I eat a lot, but I am active. We gave the scale to a neighbour who joined Slimming World. She still isn't slim and if anything is bigger now than she ever was

If the batteries don't cure it, that is what I will be doing too.

You’re ahead of me as I’ve had my scales since my bridal shower in 1987.

Honestly, I might have purchased this before then, or about the same time. Like I said, I have had it forever.

My scale is really old, it does not require batteries, but it's a good scale. I lost 4 pounds in 4 days!

@snowy22315 - Correct, there was nothing at the ER, I did not want to leave my husband alone. I only had water from a distributor.

That's usually what is wrong with them. I have had mine a few years now. I just got a new one at the auction for a dollar. It's a smart scale .

I don’t have a scale. I use the one at my dad’s house. It runs three pounds lighter than my doctor’s scale.
