Finally Got Me Some

I have been waiting for sweet corn season to come on. We had a cool and damp spring here, and that isn't the greatest weather for sweet corn growers. I spied that a grocery store had it on sale. I went yesterday but they were sold out. I went this morning and got half a dozen. We had some of that for supper tonight. I had a cob and my hubs had 2 of them. The corn was nice and sweet, and very long cobs. The longest one hardly sat in the corn dish, but I gave that one to him. I got a shadow box a few days ago for my birthday. I have a few things set aside that I want to put into it from my award trip for work in April to Victoria, BC. I have a few more things to gather before I put it all together. I need to have my husband pick up a new ink cartridge for the printer because the plane ticket that I have is in the digital form, I cannot find the hard copy one. ~Photo is mine
