A little harmless fun

Last week my world endured hot summer temps. Today we're back to clouds and not quite 70. Friend and I drove over to the town south of us and walked through a festival. Typical little booths with hopeful sellers. We didn't find anything we had to have but we did get in a pretty decent walk. I don't like the reality but it is what it is: walking four blocks is painful and beats me up pretty good. On the way home stopped in two thrift stores. I found a vintage mixing bowl at a decent price and a Shefield, English butterknife. I didn't need either one but both walked into my shopping cart. And the money spent helped seniors to have a lunch.
The photo should show the fun I had the other night. I enjoy figuring out how to display my art. It might not be very visible in the photo- the canvas on the lowest level is a forest painting that daughter painted. The other two pieces were done by Chris Dunn, an English illustrator. The middle piece is moody. two crows and moody mist. The upper painting shows Pan- taken from the book The Wind in the Willows. The wall is cleaner and tidy. On to clearing out surfaces on tables and such!

@Ineeddentures- Four blocks- down then back up a small hill. I sat on a building edge at one point. Blocks: maybe a ten minute walk each way? Plus the walking in the thrift store.

@Ineeddentures I barely could walk that far. I am not delighted at that fact. This is why I go to the pool and must keep going. I have to keep what leg strength that I have now. I do have a wheelchair but I don't want to be a prisoner in it.

I told Pretty when we were walking to the hospital that we needed to get out and do more walking... I kept trying to fall over and she said I could use her treadmill... I fall off to the right walking on it, too.
I'm glad you enjoyed your walk and the photos look lovely.

@DaddyEvil Call me names- I read what you say here and I wonder where your cane and for sure where your rollator is?? The rollator gives you a seat besides support when you walk.

I love the sunlight filtering through the trees in the forest picture. The others are great, too--but I really like your daughter's the best.
Glad to hear you got out and about, and that you keep on trying to walk as much as you can. It definitely sounds like very nice day!
