A Rainy Greeting

I know what you mean this el nino is terrible. We have sunshine now, so it is good.

@AmbiePam It is. Grandpa will still go over and watch them from when they get up in the mornings, so that Dad and Mom can start working, and then he can bring them next door to the neighbour's home. I will do the end of the day and stay with them for 20 minutes or so until Daddy finishes working.

I am sorry that it is so hot there. We are in a nice spell, but it is still muggy. We received good news today about the new school year for the girls. There is a school bus that comes into the neighbourhood (they border on the country) and they changed the pick up to about a block away from them. They will have a side street to cross, but the neighbour girl goes to their school and is in grade 8 and she offered to look after them and get them to and from the bus stop each day. Isn't that generous of her?

The lawns are still a bit yellow.

We had rain showers and clouds for the first half of the day, but it is sunny and muggy now.

Our lawns went from brown to yellow today, that is an improvement.

We had rain until just after noon.

The mornings are darker longer here.

It has been such an extreme summer, and I understand that the forecast for the winter is not favourable too. I hope that you can enjoy coolness staying home Anna. You can rest up, you must still feel so exhausted.
