Dedication to the Job

In Houston a few weeks ago, a Doordash driver (Doordash is a business that picks up your order to restaurants or stores and delivers them to you) named Miracle Herron was delivering a food order when a police chase entered the neighborhood street, and as the felon slowed down to exit the car, he hit Miracle as she was taking the food out of the car. She went over the hood as the man ran off into the backyards of neighbors. What did Miracle do (there is house surveillance footage of it happening)? She gets up, calmly picks up the bag of food, and walks to the front door of the home to leave the bag of food by the front door. After taking a confirmation picture, she walks over the police officer who pulled up and asked her if she was okay. She said she was just fine. Of course, she the officer asks her to sit down until an ambulance has checked her out. Miracle turned out to just be bruised and sore, and while she said Doordash is one of her best side hustles, she doesn’t see herself continuing the job. The fleeing man was later found by an officer and his canine.

The poor dear is going to lose her income because of this. Not fair.

Glad they caught him. She needs to call one of those billboard lawyers and sue the guy! (Like he has insurance and money, but still, to make a point…) Glad she’s okay, too. Stories like this make me happy we have those speed bumps in our neighborhood…someone comes flying through here, they’re gonna go flying!

Sounds really dedicated to her gig. Too much so, maybe. Glad they caught him.
