Wot a day- more social than Thanksgiving!

My house sits between Seattle and Portland, Oregon. Friend arrived yesterday. She needed a place to hang out before she attended a birthday party in Portland. Fine. Talkative. We all had a good and chatty time. I thought she would leave by 9 this morning. Her and I sat on my front porch and chatted for quite a while. Hubby got up at his usual 10:ish time. Friend didn't leave until after 12.
Our young helper had promised to create a chicken wire Victorian ghost lady and she did- last year. She finally found a person with a truck to transport Ms. Victoria to me. She did that just after 1:30. I love her and can't wait for dark to see if the fluorescent paint works.
Just after 2 a woman that we'd invited over to talk about spiritual stuff and just could we be friends showed up. Sweet lady. I think we all hit it off well enough.
Now I'm kicking back with a big Amy's burrito and dozing over a kind of dumb youtube movie. I'm exhausted. I still need to get recycling and garbage out cause tomorrow that stuff will be picked up. Exhaustion calls my name pretty loudly, though.

@Ineeddentures Have you eaten tortillas? A burrito for us is a tortilla filled with cheddar cheese, beans and rice and a little spice. Not too much spice for me, though. Thank you for your concern. If I start to feel more ill- and I am worried about the pills whenever those come on board- we will be looking into a helper situation.

@Ineeddentures Tortillas are just flat bread. Kind of boring unless you put goodies on it like melted cheese.

If I remember correctly you don't have an older cell phone @sallypup ? The cell phone I used to get most of my really good moon shots is a samsung galaxy s24, the camera is the only reason I got that phone, as for the phone itself it stinks.

I'm glad you had a good visit with your friend. When we still had people come over to visit, I'd just tell them I was exhausted and lay down for a nap. They could do whatever they wanted until I woke up again. Usually, they'd watch movies quietly or go outside until I woke up again.
I hope you managed to get the recycling and garbage out. I'm pretty lucky that Pretty takes out the trash. I still have to gather it up for her but she will take it out.
