Do You Look Forward to the Start of a New Month?

A new month always feels like a fresh beginning to me. Even if I haven't achieved everything I planned in the previous month, I like the feeling of turning the page and starting again. It gives me a chance to set new goals, organise my work and think about what I want to do differently.
I don't usually make big resolutions. Instead, I try to focus on one or two simple things that I know I can stick to. It feels much less overwhelming that way.
Do you see the beginning of a new month as a fresh start, or is it just another date on the calendar? Do you set any goals or simply take each day as it comes?

Sometimes I do, but the start of the month means I owe my rent, and I can't wait for that to be over.

I don't notice a new month has started unless somebody tells me it's a new month. It's just another day as far as I can tell.
A Jehovah's Witness wished me a happy August yesterday morning... I thanked him and told him I wasn't interested in anything he had to say. They're annoyances around here. (Usually, I tell them to get off my porch. I was being nice to this one, though.

Sometimes I do. I do see it as a bit of a fresh start. Like on here and making payout for another month. Things like that.
