Pineapple on pizza

You just made me try to throw up again... Pineapple isn't very good, in my opinion. Putting it on pizza ruins the pizza, assuming the pizza had toppings I like on it in the first place. Once in a blue moon, Pretty will buy the smallest can of pineapple and try to make me help her eat it. I'll eat one tiny bit and tell her that's all I can manage. She gets mad because she wasted money on the tiny can. Not my fault!

I am Italian, for us it's a crime!

To each his own! Everyone has different likes and dislikes in food. So "Have it Your Way" as the Burger King logo says! Personally, I'm not a very big fan of pineapple on pizza, but will eat it if no other choice.

I don’t mind it, but it certainly isn’t my favorite.

Because when pizza was created, it was never part of the ingredient. I don't like pineapple in any of my food. Most especially, pizza! It's definitely a no no for Italians.

I don't know who started pineapple on pizza but I'm okay with it but please not many pineapples just like in that photo.

I've seen / read some of the comments and indeed everyone got a different take on the topic. For me, pineapple in a pizza is a must as long as it is sweet. I love pizzas with thick crust too.

It isn't for me, but I dislike peppers on a pizza and many others do and it does/doesn't make it wrong. Pineapple and ham pizzas have been around since the 1960's, so they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

I don't want it there but if someone likes it that's their choice.

I have eaten Pizza with some pineapple toppings. Being a vegetarian it was the only option given.

I have seen somewhere online that a restaurant in Italy threw out his customer because he ordered pizza with pineapple in it. So it is a crime for Italian people. I have tried pineapple pizza and it was not bad at all.

I am not a fan of pineapple in general, esp on pizza. Grandma loved it. Me, not so much
