My new throne.

For a while now I’ve been looking for just the right chair for a space in my library (back bedroom that we use as a sitting room in which we like to read).
I’d forgotten about my quest until I spotted this lovely little chair in a charity shop this morning. It’s perfect, recently re-covered, and sits so well in the room. The only other sitting place in the room is a sofa on which I tend to slouch, so I’m hoping I’ll read more attentively and intentionally when perched on this little chair.
Now I have to reorganise the room to get maximum benefit from the throne. I love green.

My wife said I was slouching the other night.
Your new throne looks like just the job, it would be difficult to slouch sitting in that chair

I’ll tell you how bad my back is; I cannot fathom spending a long time in a chair that you can’t prop up your legs. If no recliner, I need an ottoman.
It’s a gorgeous chair I love, I just couldn’t sit long in it. It doesn’t bother your back? I always assume more people are like me (for some reason).
