Ladies first

Breakfast over at the main house is like first come first served. People get served as they trickle in and go to the serving station. Lunch, on the other hand, is a different thing. Everyone is already in the building. In order to avoid chaos the cooks call for the ladies to line up first. Isn't that cute? "Ladies first!" When all of the women have been served then they call for the guys. I was genuinely surprised the first time I saw that happen. I'm surprised some man hasn't thrown a fit about discrimination or preferential treatment or whatever. I guess we all have more important things on our minds.

I think ladies first is fine I don't get why any guy would get prissy over that But the other way round, and the feminists could have their sensitivities offended just a bit. Who cares who lines up first We used to do that at school dinner Ladies first

Your school dinners were very civilised. What I remember about ours was the shoving and bullying to get to the front.

If a man complained I’d tell tell him life isn’t fair. After all, he can pee standing up, and I can’t.

It doesn't really matter who eats when as long as everybody gets to eat. *shrug*

It's a normal thing. Ladies should be attended to first. That shouldn't get any guy angry

It's funny, isn't it? All the stuff we more or less took for granted that can now be classed as discrimination.
