I was going through a lot of old stuff from 2010 when I came across this video I took in 2010.
I was with my sibling and cousins that were visiting and as always I had my camera with me so naturally when I saw this coyote I just had to get a video. I had completely forgotten about this.
Have you ever heard of the Indian Cliffs ranch in Fabens?

Of course it didn't @Ineeddentures it's like these dumb bozos who think having a mountain lion as a pet would work ......... sure, until it got so hungry you started looking really good

Do they bite? Are you near that coyote while filming it?

I'm sure it would have bitten me if I could have gotten close but I was using the zoom on my camera to get this video.
The coyote was skittish and would have run away if anyone got too close but there was a fence between us and all it actually knew was that it was finding food to eat. There were too many people having dinner on that patio for it to even think of trying to get near us.

Yes, rare for me for sure @luisadannointed but when I asked a waiter about it he told us that coyotes always know to come for the scraps people throw for them.

Trust me, no one could get close to a coyote, they'll come for the treats but they're skiddish and run off when you start moing around. This one was only interested in the food and since no one attempted to approach him I was able to get this shot with the zoom on my camera of course.

@rebelann They're native to north and central america. So no coyotes here at all.

That's true but humans have had a bad habit of intruducing non native animals almost anywhere they have gone @toniganzon

It's only famous in this neck of the 'woods', the Cattlemens Steakhouse is very expensive and a lot of the people here save up just to get to eat there, my cousin thought we would like it so she procured a reservation for us, at least I had fun creating videos but I don't like steak.

Oh yes, he was getting lots of snacks from all the people dining on the patio and I got the impression he was a repeat 'customer'

In El Paso they are famous for their steakhouse and yes I did use a zoon although I doubt that coyote had any inclination to jump into a crowded restaurant. Their patio is the most sought after place in there, I think it was my cousin who secured the reservation.

Yes, I thought it was adorable and so very hungry.
Well, Indian Cliffs itself isn't all that notable here but the Cattlemen Steakhouse is a big hit for people who want to go to a fancy restaurant that is very expensive. Of course almost all their menu centers around beef which I do not care for but they did serve salmon as well so that is what I got.
I really was not impressed with the food but the ranch had a small zoo like area where there were a few animals like antelope and deer in fenced in areas plus a small pond where there were ducks and geese, that I did like. I had a fairly good time walking around their grounds and I never got a photo of the peacock that kept running away from me.
