Catching UP and Yesterday's Events

I'm trying to catch up on notifications. I got behind yesterday because we were gone most of the day. I had an appointment for an ultrasound for my thyroid. It was scheduled at the hospital in Brookhaven, which is about an hour away from me. There is road construction on the interstate to get there and it really had me running late. I called to let them know I would be 15 min or more late and asked if I needed to reschedule. They told me to come on in, no problem! Yay. We get there and walked up to the out patient desk and the gentleman told me to go to the next desk down the hall---that way with him pointing the way. We get half way down the hall and my husband asked me how does he know where to send you, he didn't ask? I just said EXACTLY!!! We get to the next desk and I told the lady I was there for a thyroid ultrasound. She informs me that I need to check in at the first desk. I told her he sent me here. She said, "I don't know WHY!!" She was clearly perplexed. We go back to the first desk and I told the man I needed to check in that they sent me back here. He said OH! So I told him what I was there far and he told me to have a seat in the waiting room. I told him that his ESP was really off today and had a seat. Yeah the smart mouth said something. I was tired of walking. My husband told me I didn't have to say anything. It was meant to be humorous. That's me--sarcastic humor!! We sat down and I finally got called to the office. I got all the insurance cards scanned, signed my consent paper. She asked for orders and I told her I didn't get any and that the doctor's office scheduled this and nothing was sent to me to turn in. She said, okay, I'll call them. I sit and several people get called back. Then I hear a conversation about this is the wrong fax number and they are not getting my request. It was MY paperwork. The girl in the back came back and gave her another fax number and my paperwork was sent right over. Thankfully, I did not have to reschedule. How was your day yesterday? Everything go smoothly?
